      Don't forget the big "R", Rescue Dog. Of course, my juvenile delinquent, Diego the chihuahua, thinks that he is as big as the GSD foster.

      Unfortunately not a breed, so they don't really fit this type of list, there's still my personal favourite, a rescue dog. My family has had a few "name brand" dogs over the years (I remember the short haired St Bernard we were given when I was little. Would have been a show dog if he'd been born with both testicles… And the black Lab of my sister's family), but mainly rescues. My current (b)rat terrier, Aednat, I wouldn't trade for anything, and she followed my sister home.
