      Being an owner of 3 now. I had a 4th – your reasons don’t apply to all Burmese. Most cats like to be up high. Mine sleep most of the day and mine are seldom vocal. Not sure where you got your information from. 😳🤬🤬

      Nonsense…….. This guy has never owned a Burmese…..I'm a first time cat owner and my Burmese Tortie Jasmine is a perfect buddy. Absolutely beautiful breed.
      Sounds like he read a website listing their characteristics

      I have a burm and a bengal and my burmese is an absolutely perfect pet. I guess it wouldnt be a surprise that the bengal offends almost everything on this list to the nth degree, and she really… really does… but my personal experience with the burmese is not close to this. He makes basically no noise, other than a rare meow, is extremely well behaved and is basically a teddy bear. I have zero gripes with the breed and will probably buy nothing but burms from here on out. If you can afford one and are interested in the breed, disregard this list imo. The only reason not to buy one is if you specifically want a cat that is aloof and doesn't want attention.

      I have two Burmese boys. Same Mum a few years apart. They are indoor only but they have many windows and a balcony from my apartment.
      I do my IT job from home so they sleep near me in my office in a bed with a heating pad. We talk to each other and we play at least twice a day for at least 30 minutes.
      I can't imagine my life without them.

      I love my Burmese cat, he’s beautiful, he fetches, he cuddles, he’s extremely social, the most beautiful green eyes, extremely intelligent, he’s funny.

      My parents had one, I had one. Best cats in the world if you want a companion. They are lap cats but do tend to only like certain people. They either love you or hate you. If they love you, they will be your best friend. Yes they are loud, they tend to pace back and forth and circle the house, follow their owners and want to be close to their owners. They are so silky and shiny with the cutest petite little legs. My son is highly allergic, only reason I can't have one now. 🙁 The best companion I ever had. Miss her so greatly.

      Burmese cats are the best. They are most loving, adaptable, curious, and make best friends. Most of all they are intelligent! There is no comparison between a DSH and a Burmese. All the point made in this video are false.

      Rest be assured that a Burmese cat is life transforming. If you can afford to get one or more, consider yourself most fortunate! Burmese are ❤️❤️❤️

      Just to re iterate, pets are not for everyone, pets are not toys and you should not get them as entertainment. ONLY GET A PET IF U CAN AFFORD THE HIGHEST OF CARE.

      I'm not certain why this video is called 7 reasons the Burmese may not be right for you. I had 2 and they were the best cats I ever owned. Loud loving and all.

      I had a Burmese cat when I was a child (like elementary-HS age). It was the most affectionate, best cat ever. That cat is still etched in my mind as the ideal cat. I still remember that if you clapped on your chest, he would jump up on you and let you catch him. As an adult I've always rescued any cats I've had from a shelter. But that Burmese will always stand out as the best cat ever!

      I don’t like this title, i have 2 burmese cats and they are so lovely! Its fact that they meows a lot… a lot.. but their love attension is amazing!!! I love them so much and they love me, they loves kissing, petting and hugging! When i’m Going back to my home from holidays or smth , they are purring so much. When you are sick or alone they are coming to me. I love them so much! And they loves me

      My Burmese loved other cats! My son even wrote a story about it for school, in 1st grade. My Burmese male helped me foster 100+ cats and kittens, welcomed everyone, and taught all the kittens manners, and how to hunt and play. I have heard that do better in pairs, as they are highly social.

      Owned 3 Burmese cats. Never needed to brush. Did not shed. Hypoallergenic. Friendly. Affectionate. Chatty. Best breed. EVERY cat should be given high quality food!
