Well, they compromise and get the one that can sit on the fence and straddle it—a cat that acts like a dog.

  1. What about a dog that acts like a cat? My Chihuahua was raised with cats and lived much of her life with them. She has many cat-like ways and prefers the company of cats to the company of other dogs.

  2. Our new to us Jack Russell chases squirrels, wipes his feet by attempting to cover his bathroom usage, hates water, and very obviously has selective hearing. It's funny because we lost an excellent dog like cat about a year ago (tabby cat). Now we have a cat like dog, even to the size. 😊

  3. Would love to hear more about Bombay cats. I love the American Bombay , for its orange eyes! Could you do a video on that one? They're are British Bombays too!

  4. What cats breed do you guys recommend that are affectionate and love to cuddle but also would like to sit by your side and always be near you and I know that isn’t a cats thing but a cat who also is loyal or at least can bond to one person and follow you around

  5. I am glad the Abyssinian was included. But Russian Blues, Bengals, British Shorthairs, Persians, Bombay’s, Oriental Siamese and Himalayan’s are loyal and dog like too.

  6. No Siamese? Siamese are among the most intelligent and affectionate cat breeds. They thrive on social interaction and will actually get into mischief if not given enough attention, just like a puppy. They are easily trained, can be walked on a harness, and often have a love for playing fetch. They also make excellent companions for dogs.

  7. My Brittish long haired used to play fetch but not so much now. Will still play chase, come when you call his name or whistle. Follows my wife absolutely everywhere but will also follow me at times 🙂

  8. I think I’m one of the few people who loves both cats and dogs equally. Choosing between a cat and a dog is like choosing between my favorite children! A dog like cat seems like the best of both worlds to me.

  9. So sick of the stupid phrase "cats who act like dogs". They act like cats! It's not like they are copying dogs & their behaviour. Some breeds have different personalities or are more people oriented and clingy & active it's as simple as that. Do you ever hear the expression "dogs who act like cats?

  10. You have forgotten the Norwegian Forest cat who are also very dog like. I lived with one and living with one now, so I should know.
