Mine drinks and eats with his paws. He is also figuring out what doorknobs are for, but he's so tall, he just grabs them and bites, instead of turning them! LOL
@XxNimanarutoxX According to my Reader's Digest Illustrated Book of Cats the Turkish Angora helped to create the Persian breed and was brought over from Ankara which was then Called Angora in the 1600s
A true Turkish Angora cat is a descent from Turkey and the Ankara Zoo does have a breeding program there for them, look it up you will see I have Turkish Angoras in my home and they are descents (8-12 generations) from the Zoo. This cat looks to be more American cross of persian/angora because up to 1950s they were bred together now are just persians while the Turkish Angora came to USA in 1960s and develop separate breeding programs here. So they do exist in this regard.
I have to say it's the old saying of what comes first the chicken or the egg because you can read one book that says that and then another in it's opposite. I personally don't know and be honest don't care but there really no evidence showing it either way. Yet I think all cats are beautiful anyway
@master4876 I heard on a cat show that they tend to go deaf on the same side as the blue eye if I'm not mistaken. Not trying to worry u but incase u ever wonder if he doesn't hear something from one side. Look it up incase I'm wrong. Angoras are my favorite cats
I am sure that if she had kittens, and if they were all white, and that if one of them had blue eyes, he would look really cute <3
Hopefully she wont have mixed raced kittens. White kittens all the way! Especially with big blue eyes! So cute <3
I'd give anything to have a video of the beautiful white Turkish Angora I grew up with but video was uncommon then. Marcia was incredibly intelligent and affectionate, as these cats always are. They are the most wonderful cats in the world – the most loyal friends you could ask for. Without doubt, the white ones are the most beautiful creatures in existence. Each one is irreplaceable and when they go, they take a piece of your heart forever with them.
uh oh! by-the-computer!!!!!! My Turk does that all the time- and a few days ago instead of WATER, I had cranberry juice…. and I HAD a TAN carpet… ah welll…
You have very cute kitty though!
My turkey does this too :). He only drinks out of a tumbler. Any thing else gets emptied, by paw, onto the floor. Also when we were trying to modify he's moral compass with the spray gun, when he was a kitten, he would dip he's paw and flick water back at us!

In Turkey we also use the term Persian (Iran) Cat for another kind, so don't get upset for stupid things. Get a life.
Read that history again…
