  1. Over the years I have had four Rottweilers, one i rescued and won a big show, best rescued dogs unfortunately they have all passed now.i love this breed as they are exceptional. I miss them.

  2. Rotties are such an amazing breed. It is sad that they don't have a longer life span. Both my pure bred Rotties passed at 11 from cancer. My current girl is a Rottie mix and is currently 13.

  3. My answer to the question about Rotties being protective if they aren't trained….it depends. My one girl looked mean but would have let anyone onto my property/into my home. She was super friendly and loved people. My current girl will love on strangers outside the house and in my yard or anyone I let in. At 1 point, I would have said she didn't have an aggressive bone in her body because she was always so laid back and friendly. That changed one day when I asked my ex to take our son over to my house to let her out (I was stuck at work due to snow). My son went in the house to let her out and feed her. My ex was wondering what was taking so long so he went in to see what was going on. My girl put him up against the door and wouldn't let him move. She had glimpses of him but was never introduced and he had never been in my home before. She was protecting her home and her boy. She was such a good girl….I say was because she has gotten naughty in her old age. lol

  4. That Rottweiler on the sleeve is a beautiful specimen. I have sharp eyes why has he been neutered? Such a shame for such an awesome looking dog

  5. For me the best breed. I ve lost my boy Brego on 04.12.2025 at 11 years old and that was the hardest lost i ve experienced so far in my life, alongside my dad's passing on 2022.
    Greetings from Timișoara!

  6. I was flabbergasted that you actually identified her, surely with her consent, as a witch. Why reinforce what had to be either her pychopathology, or a psychological darkness, which is not only irrelevant to the subject at hand, but lends itself to topics best left to professionals. What's next? Identifying a breeder as a sadomasicist? Very disappointing.

  7. Another threat to the breed are the Serbian genetics e.g., a flat forehead without a sloping stop and a short muzzle almost like a Johnson American Bulldog. Also they are not supposed to be low slung short legged. Reject the Serbian genetics in the gene pool of your breeding program.

  8. My son’s Staffie/Mastif cross nipped my thumb by mistake one day when we were playing and that was painful enough. I can’t imagine how bad a full bite would be

  9. I was fortunately enough to have my first Rottweiler in 1983 (Rudi) I was asked is that a fat Doberman? Over the years I’ve had 9 Rottweilers, I became the head trainer for the Northern Rottweiler Club.( Manchester/Leeds UK) Obtaining a German a Schutzhund/IPO/VGP qualification IN 1986, becoming one of the first in the UK, to receive this certificate. Great Dog unbelievable intelligence and a fantastic family dog xx
