My 2 favorite breeds. The Rottweiler is actually in the lineage of the Doberman. The Doberman is smarter and faster however the Rottweiler is close in intelligence and more powerful both in brute force and intensity while also being extremely intimidating without having to display those characteristics. The match made in heaven is to have both. Doesn’t matter which sex or order they’ll match very well. I have a 2 year old Rotweiler and he’s 27” at the withers and 125lbs. I’d love to match him up with a brown female Doberman. Non the less fantastic breeds overall especially when bred right ❤
Love the Rotti's but the Doberman is capable of doing more, from Wall Street, to the street. They are faster and usually have more stamina and a bit more intelligence. These breeds are awesome cousins from Germany.
Yes I agree! Protection is innate in the Rottweiler!! My Rottweiler came out like an enraged raptor the very first time he was exposed to the helper in schutzund training. – More weight will cut down on his athleticism. My boy I keep kinda lean.
A well bred Rottweiler is my favorite type of dog. I even like Rottweiler/Doberman mixes. We need to be breeding healthier and more functional Rottweilers tail or no tail. Go back to the 90's breed standard with the full length muzzle and males not weighing over 110lbs. Dogs with drive and that are naturally protective.

Yes I know I have a Rottweiler now, I use to have a European male doberman and I'm not going to go into it but the Rottweiler is a better dog not only more laid back but just better. But that's just me. I can tell you one thing though. They are stronger 💪 God bless you 😊

She can also jump from a standstill to head level and has way better balance. They both are good at different departments but Rotties are the best guard dog for the buck hands down
My rottie is 26 inches at the withers 87lbs roughly and has ran 8.10 in the 100 yard dash
I'd love to have a couple dobues, but they don't live long enough, heard too many stories of them passing at 4 years old! Can't take on the heartache that would cause me!
Best of luck with brutis have father and son rotties , laid back loving dogs love to sleep but the minute something goes sideways my dogs are there.they think they are lap dogs and love my wife and daughter .the best friends I ever had ,if you love them they love you back in spades . Not aggressive until they see a threat only bark at the rottie one door down, every other dog they ignore even when the other dog gets in their face if other dog annoys me or my girls different story. I have two. My male keeps himself lean, he doesnt have a huge appetite for dog food, and is very active. My female is 6 months and is always hungry. She's a tank. She is the smartest dog I've had.

Rottie’s are no joke . Obedience training is mandatory non negotiable.
My favorite dogs especially the Doberman but I was really looking at that clean looking black Pontiac Grand National.
