ウィペットの飼い主が犯す最悪のミス(ウィペットによると)

Ever wondered what your whippet thinks about your daily decisions, when it comes to them? In this video, we are flipping the script. Instead of talking about the real mistakes whippet owners make, like we did last time, today we are diving into the very dramatic, very unreasonable and very accurate list of mistakes whippet owners make… according to the whippets themselves.

00:00 Intro
00:26 Allowing them to be independent

02:23 Not providing enough blankets
02:57 Ignoring the “fix this” stare
03:41 Expecting them to prefer dog beds

05:26 Walking to the other room unsupervised
06:34 Leaving the house without them

Hey, fellow dog fanciers and whippeteers! My name is Addie, proudly owned by 6 gorgeous whippets currently (10 throughout the years), and I have been surrounded by pets since day 1. The world of show dogs, dog shows and responsible breeding has been keeping me busy since the age of 12 and this channel is especially created to educate on these controversial topics.

  2. Hi Adi @ShowPaws
I ADORE ur channel, and since the day we got our whippet Lara, I have been regularly watching ur videos. U helped me a lot with all of the information u share with us

Could you share some of your experiences with us about what the best food for whippets is?

I have a female whippet who is 3.5 years old and has been with us for 2.5 years.
For the first year before coming to us, she was fed exclusively raw meat from a local farm; however, I don’t have access to meat of that quality in the city.

When she came to us, we had some trouble finding the right kibble for her.
We realized that anything containing chicken or turkey doesn’t work because she gets very soft stool and gas.
Also, any stronger food like kibble with wild meat (boar, rabbit) is absolutely not an option – again, some stomach issues.

We’ve been using Monge tuna & salmon for a year now, lamb kibble works ok also, but I would really love to cook for her at least two or three times a week – mainly beef offal (liver, heart, kidneys, tongue).
Do you recommend home-prepared food? Which type of meat has worked best for your dogs? Have you ever prepared small fish like sprats or sardines, boiled or baked, as a meal for your dogs?
My dog also loves and regularly gets cooked or raw carrots, celery, and apples

Please tell us more about your experiences with food.

  3. Youre very clever the way you word things and your English is incredible. You are very funny too.
We have a 3 month old Whippet male called Moon.
I wonder if you could answer me a couple of questions, hes not keen on going out for walks, how can we encourage him please?
Also when has zoomies he gets quite aggressive, like something possessed, jumping over us and fighting and biting. He has a certain wild look in his eyes. Please what should we do? Thank you.

  4. We have two ladies in my obedience class who have bred, shown and trained Whippets for over 25 yrs each. The temporary deafness is a real thing😂😂. Blankets and winter coats are a must in our northern climate. So are pajamas. And they love to sneak in a few snuggles before class starts every week😊😊

  5. Just so funny and true to life , l have a whippet saluki cross and though he looks more like a saluki l can now see he’s really a whippet in disguise, it explains a lot .

  6. That is SO funny! So true. We have had two female princeses when we were married 44 years ago and they were like little children. After we had children we learned children were far less labor intensive that whippets LOL We are now retiring and getting another whippet sometime in the spring(she is not born yet) so it will be like having a baby again. We wouldn't have it any other way. We have had several other breeds over the years but the whippet hold a very special place in our heart. Thank you for oh so funny video I laughed so hard remembering our girls.

  7. Haha! ''when they want to get on the sofa and you don't lift them!''.
Recall…. a perfect recall if there is 'prey'in sight is almost impossible in my experience. Foxes, deer, squirrels.. You could be carrying a whole warm roast chicken, but once they have started to run, it's pointless calling. You have to catch them before they start to run.

  8. Sheesh. I ran into a lady walking my “Heinz 57” today. She said “wow, cute puppy, love the whippet mixes”. I had no idea what a whippet was. Came home and looked these whippet videos up and confirmed! Maggie does these crazy high standing jumps, burrows, needs constant attention and is crazy fast (thought maybe greyhound mix) based on hind legs’/backend shape with the feet all coming off the ground when running). Case solved!!
