  1. Movie, The Christmas Candle, featuring Susan Boyle, was filmed on the Isle of Man. Made it very authentic. Great movie, BTW!

  2. This is my homeland where I can trace my family back hundreds of years , I no longer live there but my immediate family does. One point , please have the narration pronounce the names correctly, it was torture to hear some of the mispronunciation.

  3. I found out a week ago, I have very close genetic ties to the Isle of Man. Growing up an American, it was a place I knew of vaguely. However, diving into a video like this and then finding out how wondrously unique it is? My heart is over the moon with this place. I cannot wait to visit!

  4. If you make a video of the island, have the courtesy to pronounce the words properly eg Cregneish is pronounced Creg neesh, Tynwald is Tin wald. and Hop tu Naa is Hop tue Nay.

  5. I'm going slightly off topic to talk about myself. I'm from German heritage on my mother's side, this is all I've always known. I have green eyes (rare) and blonde hair and fair skin, which I found out is a sure combination that leads me to believe I'm a descendant of people in this exact area of the ancient world. It's just fun to know, and flex a little Viking in me 😄
