How do you help an aggressive Blue Heeler?

How do you help an aggressive Blue Heeler? 🐕 Vada lashed out at other dogs, so I turned to her natural instincts: herding cattle. The question was: would she bite, or would she learn to herd? Watch the complete episode on YouTube!

¿Cómo ayudas a una Blue Heeler agresiva? 🐕
Vada arremetía contra otros perros, así que recurrí a sus instintos naturales: pastorear ganado.
La pregunta era: ¿Mordería o aprendería a pastorear?

  1. Poor cows !!!! It's awful to use innocent animals , stressed and feared them so that an idiot dog can use his too much energy on them. The owner of the dogs should run or biked several hours with their idiot animal .

  2. There are two ways that dogs can herd cows. From the head like border collies, and from the heals like blue healers (that’s how they get their name). Border collies tend to work better on sheep because sheep are easier to herd from the front. Blue healers are great for cattle to keep cattle moving on a cattle drive. You don’t want a dog to get in front and stop them on a long cattle drive, you want to push and drive from behind. It’s also why blue heelers are such a tough breed, they get kicked a lot.

  3. We took over a blue heeler that was put away in a dark corner shed for more than a year.
I heard him barking, and asked if I could see him, the owner said that he was viscious.
    I said I don't mind.
I stepped into that shed and was welcomed by the most gorgeous blue heeler, I ever have seen.
    But I couldn't touch his neck 😢😢😢😢😢
I said, I won't mind taking him with me.
But the owner wanted to try to sell him first.
1 year later, they called and were ready to give him up.
When we picked him up, he was in a terrible state.
But with love and good food he became better.
    But still his neck….😢
We went to the veterinarian, explained the situation, and he carefully examined the dog.
But said, I'm afraid I cannot find or do anything for you and the dog.
Only human thing was putting him down. So badly did he came from those people.

The Vet. Asked if he could keep the dog for examening him, which we agreed.
But he called 1 hour later.
With the message, that the poor dog must have been completely broken on the inside, he stank already after that hour.
The previous owner(s) have most likely hit him SO HARD with sticks, feet etc. That it was a miracle the dog was still alive when we picked him up.
And after that capable of loving us for the 3 months we had him.
He NEVER FOUGHT WITH OUR GIANT SCHNAUZER, though he too was an intact male dog
God please have mercy on "Jerome" his soul, he was a lovable and gorgeous dog

  4. I had a dog that jumped out of the car to chase a mustang. I felt so bad for the poor horse and I don't know but I doubt my dog was herding it. I just don't think she had any herd dog in her.
