In 1786 Jon Watson and his pack of Irish Wolfhounds tracked and killed the very last Wolf of Ireland ending thousands of years of the wolves’ rein in Ireland forever. In this episode Anneka travels to Mount Leinster in Ireland, the place the last wolf was hunted down and reenacts the last final hours of the wolf’s life and tells the tale of how she was killed. We explain why Ireland’s wolves were hunted to extinction.

  2. A time when the Irish were eating turnips qnd apples. Many centuries qgo Ireland was a dense forrest. They hunted an Elk and a Moose species to extincrion too.

  3. Our wildlife is also currently at an even higher risk due to the added element of foreign arrivals, who don't share our same rules and responsibility for not harming environment and wildlife.
