Millie’s goodbye
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden loss of our beloved Millie. She was our girl, the one who started it all for us. She was a breed ambassador, an agility star, our spicy, goofy girl, and our heart. We never knew when we posted about her the other day, that we would be losing her then. Our day was no different then another, until it was shattered by her loss. Millie wasn’t feeling well, so we took her to the vet. While there she began having trouble breathing, and after some tests, we discovered her heart had become enlarged, and her lungs were not working well. We could not bring her home to suffer, with all those that loved her standing near, we let her peacefully go. Millie was the first girl in our breeding program. She only had 6 babies herself, a singleton and then a litter of five, but her legacy continues now down five generations. Through her, and her children, grand-children, great-grand children and now great-great-grand children, we have made so many friends. We will miss her every day and never stop loving her.
