The europeans and the Americans are the same breed standard. The only difference is that the European variety or more working dogs while the American is more of a show dog however, there are some American dogs that can work, but it’s very rare to find one also when they think of the European Dobermens, they think of those deep chested dogs no their completely different dogs they’re not giant dogs my great Dane level of size so if you’re getting one of those giant Dobermens, those dogs are backyard bred also the AKC standard registers for colors while the FCI registers two
Beautiful dogs made all the more beautiful by NOT mutilating their ears
You should make a dogumentary about the newer, more athletic English mastiffs you talked about on stream a while back
Both are health hazards I'll pass
Chopping ears and tails on all dogs is now illegal in Europe this also includes declawing cats! I live in France if your asking!
Great job on the video. The analysis of how the two Dobermans are different was spot on. Actually, many Western European Dobermans are closer to the American Doberman than the Eastern European Doberman in personality, and sometimes, look. We have been seeing more and more people in the west, especially in America, that want a velcro lap dog in their Doberman. This has also gone hand in hand with many people today not docking and cropping their Dobermans, those dogs are generally not from working line Dobermans, although that's not always the case. The show ring, and people wanting big lap dogs that need less exercise, has helped lead to their lack of drive, aggression and workability when compared to their Eastern European counterparts. These are all highly intelligent dogs and even the more refined Doberman is very capable of stopping a threat. Of course, with less drive, aggression and workability, we don't know how they will respond to any situation where protection might be needed. Their appearance and bark alone, are usually good deterrents, but not always. Excellent coverage Zeke.
European Doberman, more well built and great structure appearance and poise and great for all around sports for dogs. Especially hunting.
Doberman Pinschers…..🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
I want to get a Doberman, but I’m afraid because I’ve heard they have genetic issues due to inbreeding. Is that just American line, or is it also European line? IDK.
