  1. 🤔🤔🤔 The NGSD ( New Guinea singing dog ) is not a domesticated dog it is a wild dog type/breed and New Guinea isn’t in Africa it’s part of Melania in the North Pacific Ocean close to Australia.

  2. What an idiot!!! Whoever did the graphics for the New Guinea Singing Dog KNOWS NOT where New Guinea is! The map focuses on Guinea which is an AFRICAN country! New Guinea is the western part of Papua-New Guinea which is the 2nd largest island in the world resides north of Australia. The dog's description is for the most part quite correct. in the mid 20th century they almost became extinct. Indonesia which control that area was of no help in preserving the breed. It is a Muslim country, and as such consider dogs to be a very lowly and to be avoided (kafir). It is very interesting that the Saluki , the Afghan, the Salughi, and almost all the sight hounds have originated in countries who are now Muslims. Despite the tribes who own these dogs being Muslims, they regard these dogs with reverence. It is probably because they owned and used these breeds way before they became Muslims. The Bedouins in the Middle East deserts, or the Tuareg in the Sahara desert adore the dogs as much as their Arabian horses, and camels.

  3. AI voices Took My Jobs. yeah, better now but still, mispronunciations grate on my ears
and make me distrust a channel Half way thru? yeah, this was more fake slop

  4. Re the Pharaoh Dog, recent DNA testing has confirmed that the breed is a relatively recent development from other breeds.

It apparently became genetically distinct from the Sicilian Cirneco dell'Etna no more than two hundred years ago.

  5. Pharaoh hound is my favorite! A friend of mine had a Staffordshire/Sharpei hybrid the sweetest dog ever. He was more like a Sharpei. Rip Django!

  6. My first dog was a chow/German shepherd mix. She had the shepherds’s coloring with the black tongue. The most loyal and smartest dog ever.

  7. Up the street from my childhood home in the 1960s was a family that kept both Salukis and Afghans. Interesting to see both breeds in this presentation.

  8. I love getting to see so many Sighthounds in a video. I’ve adopted retired racing greyhounds for 25 years and adore their sweet, gentle disposition and incredible athleticism. 4/5 of mine have been Pet Therapy dogs and all have been really wonderful family members. They sleep 16+ hrs a day and can be quite lazy. But2-3 times a week, they will sprint around our fenced in yard at about 30 mph. On the track, they can go from 0 to 40 mph in just 6 strides! It’s really beautiful to see and they love to show off how fast they are by running right a me and darting away at the last second. All of miles have been XL big boys weighing over 90 lbs. The XL boys tend to be overlooked due to their size but they really are the sweetest gentle giants.
