Yeap the same happen with poidles. Lot of people living in apartments getting one or more for compani9n without understand how anxious they are and how much they don't tolerate loneliness. Thus couple in my building had two for them…the poor souls were crying, scratching the door and barfing all day (like from early morning to late in the afternoon) until they owners return home.
Anyone seeking a pet should research the breed. We mostly adopt dogs from shelters, and I'm willing to consider most breeds, though Beagles and Boxers are less likely for my family, due to digging and cat issues. Research the breed, listen to the people who have bred it, or care for it at the shelter, spend time with it, and be sure before you adopt or purchase. Amy breed can be absolutely amazing as a pet, but they all suffer the more they are adopted and returned, because the owner wasn't ready for that particular dog.
