ディンゴがチドリを捕まえる | たくさんの犬を飼っている退役軍人としての私の人生Vlog – ドッグファームオーストラリア

What do I do when one of our dingoes catches one of the new spring plover chicks. Joey the Kelpie helps me out, the kids get to learn about wildlife and it’s an afternoon dash to the vet.

Thank you everyone for watching and supporting our family.

  1. I hope the plover makes a full recovery. Joey is just the best! She may not have been cut out for herding sheep, but my gosh, her nose is amazing and she is a star on the Farm! ❤️🐾❤️

  2. So glad you could get her away from the Plover before she did any real damage, but we know that is her nature. Love watching them play. Love and hugs.

  3. Dear Joey, you're definitely a smart girl and a hero 🤎
Dear Tina, you're definitely a cheeky dingo 🧡
Thank you Elle, Evie, Wolfie and Luke for saving the baby plover 💚

  4. Amazing that Joey found the plover. She is a good girl. 👍🐶😊👏😍 Now, the plover can be taken for its needle 💉 & get the medical help that it needs. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 Catching up with all my videos, since I have acquired a new job…that doesn’t allow me to watch all my favourite videos before I go to work.

  5. Joey really is a gift❤ although I'm not supprised because she was so chill with the kittens and cats but for her to find the plover and show it with NO TRAINING tells me Joey is super smart and so in-tune with luke and the farm as a whole ❤

  6. Ha Ha, I can just imagine the WIRES employee on the other end of that conversation. WIRES: "Wait, what? Did you say Dingo?' Luke: 'Yes, I have a pet dingo. I have 2 dingoes.' WIRES: silence. Sweet Elle (or Evie?) saying that she hopes the bird's parents will be ok with them helping it.

  7. Joey who was tough on sheep has been well trained by you. She persisted and indicated where the plover was hiding but did not do any harm. We do not always know our dog's potential. In another life, Joey could have been a conservation searcher. We have them here in NZ to track and locate endangered endemic ground nesting birds like kiwi. The people at WIRES would be impressed.

  8. Please explain more about the phone call you made and the reference number. Does the reference number mean that the agency you called will take care of the vet bill, collect statistics, is for research, conservation, etc?

  9. Thank you for all the information. Yes, Tina is a wild born Dingo and she responds to her heritage. This cannot be changed, modified, maybe, a little, but not changed. Thank you to particularly Luke, and Sam as major support, for managing Tina's behaviours, and attending to the "damage" that results in a non wild environment. Joey, you are wonderful, with your searching skills, gentle approach, & caring nature, you are loved by many. Thank you to SASH (Tuggarah) for their help. This was a huge learning process for all. Evefry life is precious.

  10. My boxers will eat anything that moves from an ant or spider to a chipmunk or squirrels, as much as I try to stop it I'm just not having any luck

  11. I’ve rescued injured birds before in NW Alaska. I usually put them in a small box inside on a towel. After an hour I give them water in a shallow dish and food suitable for the breed. Try for release every hour or so. Works for migratory birds in NW Alaska.

  12. We have spur winged plovers where I walk my dogs here on Waiheke Island NZ & am always impressed by the parents diversion & protection tactics.
