through the endless repetition of layering and unraveling threads.
It can take weeks to complete a single piece.
Rarely seen,
Momo wore a beautiful chocolate-colored coat.
When walking with Momo,
people always turned around to look at her again.
For timid Momo, her family started training,
and Momo did her best to follow.
This piece was created by compositing several photographs.
As she aged, her eyesight gradually faded—
right eye around age eight, left eye around age eleven.
Both eyes were eventually replaced with prosthetics.
As seen in the photos, even after losing her sight completely,
Momo never lost her bright smile.
With the support and love of her family,
she trained hard and lived so actively that she forgot she couldn’t see.
Fifteen years and eleven months later,
the shining star Momo left countless memories
and went on a long journey across the Rainbow Bridge.
For the family who missed her beautiful star-like eyes,
the artwork depicts her bright brown eyes from her youth.

털복숭이 친구들은 모두
실을 켜켜이 수놓고, 또 풀어내는
과정을 수없이 반복하여 만들어집니다.
한 작품을 만드는데 길게는 몇 주의 시간이 걸립니다.
쉽게 볼 수 없는,
아름다운 초콜릿 컬러의 털코트를 입은 Momo.
Momo와 산책할 때면,
사람들이 항상 뒤돌아 한 번 더 보곤 했습니다.
겁이 많았던 Momo를 위해 가족들은 트레이닝을 시작했고,
Momo는 어려운 트레이닝을 잘 따라주었습니다.
이 작품은 여러 장의 사진을 합성하여 제작되었습니다.
나이가 들며 점점 희미해진 눈동자는
8살 무렵 오른쪽, 11살 무렵 왼쪽으로,
결국 양쪽 눈 모두 의안으로 바뀌었습니다.
사진에서 볼 수 있듯, 시력을 완전히 잃은 후에도
Momo는 밝은 미소를 잃지 않았습니다.
가족들의 응원과 사랑 속에서 훈련하며
눈이 보이지 않는다는 걸 잊을 만큼 활발하게 지냈습니다.
15년 11개월 후,
빛나던 아이 Momo는
수많은 추억을 남기고 무지개다리를 건넜습니다.
별처럼 반짝이던 아름다운 눈동자를 그리워하는 가족을 위해
어릴 적 선명한 브라운 컬러 눈동자로 작품을 완성했습니다.
이 작품이 Momo를 사랑하는 가족에게

糸を重ねてはほどく過程を繰り返しながら作られます。
作品を完成させるには、長ければ数週間かかります。
めったに見られない、
美しいチョコレートカラーの毛並みのMomo。
Momoと散歩すると、
いつも人々が振り返ってもう一度見ていました。
臆病だったMomoのために家族はトレーニングを始め、
Momoは難しい訓練にもよく応えました。
この作品は、複数の写真を合成して作られました。
年を重ねるごとに視力が徐々に薄れ、
右目は8歳頃、左目は11歳頃に義眼に替えられました。
写真が示すように、視力を完全に失った後も、
Momoは明るい笑顔を絶やしませんでした。
家族の支えと愛情のもと、
訓練を続け、目が見えないことを忘れるほど活発に暮らしました。
15年11か月後、
輝いていたMomoは多くの思い出を残し、虹の橋を渡りました。
星のように輝いていた美しい瞳を恋しがる家族のため、
幼い頃の鮮やかなブラウンの瞳で作品を仕上げました。
この作品がMomoを愛する家族に
温かい慰めを届けることを願っています。
