  1. My parents are on our 5th generation of Boxer, we got our first when my brother was 1 and I was 4 in 1972. Boxers will protect a child with their life. They are a great breed to raise with children, because they are gentle and love you with all their little heart. They know when you are sad or upset and are great comforters. A child could not ask for a better best friend in a pet.

  2. When I was born my parents bought a boxer. They named him Ike. He was a great dog. He will always be my favorite. He ran away ,was picked up by a dog catcher and when my dad went to get him he was told that someone dog napped him.

  3. I think boxers are genuinely one of the best family dogs you can get, people always say it's something stupid like a poodle or a springer spaniel.. You get a poodle and you'll be lucky not to be buying chopped liver for the rest of it's life (cuz they can be picky af) and if you get a springer spaniel then you'll be lucky to get a moments rest with just how much energy they contain.. Boxers have just enough energy to keep the kids entertained and are also the best snuggle companion.. I also personally find that they listen a lot better (since they follow their noses a bit less than dogs like spaniels, collies and terriers) or so that's just from personal experience 😅

  4. Boxers stay puppies into their old age. Ours spent her last day playing with the neighbors dog before she succumbed to heart failure later that evening.

  5. Dogs are great for Kids. I grew up with dogs in the house, owned several dogs. All I know is they are the most loving and loyal friend(s) you'll ever have!

  6. We had two boxer dogs as I grew up. One as a small child and one as a teenager. They were wonderful family dogs, so careful and so loving💙💙

  7. Playing and all is fine, but why would you put a dog, who’s been everywhere on the street, full of germs, bacteria into your children crib, where they breathe and sleep
