Four weeks or so ago, a young 18 month old Blue Healer came into my life from being a stray. She had been abandoned, so she wasn't having that and decided to adopted me. I got her to the vet, got her spayed because she was in heat again (she already had one litter), got her 'chipped' , vaccinated, licensed, and spent a ton of money making my lot safe for her. She's definitely a 'bag' of bad habits, but a more lovable, loyal, protective, and intelligent dog I have never known. She's a real sweetheart, and I am fortunate to have her….. I named her Rikki.
Her worst trait would be her shedding. She sheds like a snowstorm, but she gets brushed daily so it's not too bad.

I got a blue heeler rescue, hes only 7 months now but an absolute wreck of anxiety and snaps at any stranger that even moves too fast in his proximity, ive also learned his behavior is especially worse when i am around because he becomes more protective. Its going to be a pretty penny to properly train him and figure out what is a good job that he will be able to constantly work on throughout the day. These dogs should come with acreage livestock and free training lessons 😵💫
